Become a water safety hero! The Rookie Lifeguard course teaches vital skills to keep yourself and others safe in and around water. Participants will learn rescue techniques, first aid, and build on their swimming abilities. It's an exciting adventure that could be the first step towards a rewarding career as a lifeguard or swim instructor!
Suitable for ages 8 to 16, the course is open to anyone who can swim 100m confidently and is comfortable in deep water, even if they haven’t completed the core Learn to Swim pathway.
